Welcome to GodNatura.org - a website of philosophy and poetry dedicated to the idea of 'God as Nature'.
This website is a deeply personal project, a labour of love, and very much work in progress! Over time I would like to build a resource to provide information about some of the key figures who have helped inspire my worldview, as well as a platform of my own personal thoughts and writings.
A portion of this site is dedicated to the philosophy of the 17th century philosopher Benedictus de Spinoza, a champion of reason and a prominent critic of religion and superstition, yet also someone who has been described as "a religious genius" and as "a god-intoxicated man".
If these things sound contradictory, well, I suppose that's what makes him such an interesting and inspirational figure!
